I'm glad I went to church today, because in all honesty I don't pay attention, but for some reason I did today. haha. The priest talked about how many of us, from the very beginning as we wake up to our alarm clock to another day of either school or work, are already complaining. We go throughout the day complaining about going to work, what to wear, our coffee gone cold because our spouse or partner hasn't heated it up yet, the traffic that we encountered, the amount of workload we have, coming home to a bunch of noise....what have you. Throughout the day we have many complaints and I admit I'm one of those people always complaining. Yet there was one thing that the priest said that just made me realize what i've been doing wrong. He said, "Be the answer to the problem, rather than being the problem." Basically he was saying that if we complain about certain things, find a way to change that.

He also mentioned a book he read by Tao and how that author said that Heaven's eternal and the Earth is forever. I was somewhat confused when he said that, but the Priest goes on explaining that the reason these two, Heaven and Earth, are present is because they are both constantly serving us. He went on saying that "the sun doesn't shine because it has to, or the moon doesn't glisten at night because it's forced, but rather because they serve us without seeking the gesture in return and delights in that alone."

OH! & My 11 months with my boyfriend is tmrw! It's been that long, but I love love love him (: Hahahha, this picture's before we went out...like 3 months before. Gaahhd, we look hella young.
