As for me, today I have to go to some 30 year old's surprise birthday party and on his invitation there was a request that money is given rather than gifts for his dj equipment. First of all HE'S 30. At 30 years of age you shouldn't have surprise birthday parties! YOU shouldn't even ask for gifts if your birthday can't fit on the calendar anymore! And second, he should be able to, with his age, to buy his own dj equipment. AND my valentine's day is going to be spent at that birthday party ):
Personally, I strongly believe in the value of education and despite tough economic times and the price you have to pay for education, we can never take that for granted and should truly invest in that...even at an older age like 30. Education is the key to success. period.
Here were some pictures on my sister's phone (cause my camera fell outta my pocket and into the toliet, lol) from the party. We were a little bored, so we took pictures and that entertained us for a couple of minutes. haha.
