13th

Today was some trippy kind of day, not only because it's friday the 13th, but also because the weather just had random pourings throughout. It rained, the wind blew, and while walking around during my break, i was surprised when i saw hail dropping like little dippin' dots on the asphalt. All of this happened in a matter of 5 minutes. Then after that it just stopped and it was sunny as ever. Craazy right? Even when heading over there to school there was a clear separation of the dark and stormy from the bright and sunny areas separated by a full rainbow.

Later on in the day it got even more weirder, but in a good way i guess! So a few days ago, I was just on facebook lurking around when i found a poem that really caught my attention. It was hella good and I commented it thinking that one of my friends wrote it. Turns out that I don't even know the person I commented so i hella just exited away from that page hoping it wouldn't show up, but it did! The girl then goes and comments me back from facebook asking if i were the one who had left the comment and introduced herself as cassandra. Today, during the whole kiss an ipod game in the malcolm x plaza, I head over to kc to say hi. Kc then introduces me to his friend, and so i introduce myself. After a couple of minutes later, she goes, "wait! you're the may that commented me!" Some coincidence that was! :)

Things just seemed to be off today for some reason. Like, take my last class Critical Thinking, for example...we got out 30 minutes earlier today at 1:30... I found out for the longest time ever that Hugo, who i just formally introduced myself to after constantly seeing him with Duy, went to San Leandro all along...Me and Bee got ice cream today and actually agreed on that even with our indecisiveness...Jordan, while he was walking to the student center and I to the bus stop, stopped what he was doing, asked me where I was going and walked me to the bus stop and caught up on some things. He's so nice...AND for some odd reason I WAS ASKED FOR DIRECTIONS ON BART, out of all people ME? I'm so bad when it comes to directions, but they asked. While in line getting a ticket, there was this girl who hella just came up to me asking why the machine wouldn't take her $20 and that it's saying the maximum ticket value is %15. Looking at her and her luggage, i figured she wasn't from here. So i go and help her and to be honest I'm not much of a BART savvy person. I still to this day have the tendency to keep placing the tickets where the money is inserted. AND when trying to look for the change machine for the confused girl, i couldn't find it. I circled around a couple of times til I finally found the machine. She got her change, looked happy as ever, and thanked me. It was nice knowing that I helped someone out. While on the train, a lady asked me where the Montgomery stop was. Unsure of the stops I told her that the next one after the next stop is powell, and after that it should be it. Turns out I was right. WTF? I was surprised myself, I don't normally take bart and i gave a person right directions...for once. lol.

I met Matt up at the Macarthur station, and though the plan of him visting school didn't work out, he did pick me up. He initially wanted to go to concord for True East, head over to Berkeley to look around, then eat at the little marketplace in Emeryville. That, however, didn't go as planned. Instead, we just went to eat at Ono's and then headed to newpark for a while. Vans was the first store we went into, and right before I got in, I see some familiar face on the phone. I take a closer look and it was Ralph! I immediately called bee and was weirded out because of some personal issues they have regarding today, lol.

Friday the 13th was interesting. Aside from that, I hope you all have a fun, AND SAFE happy valentine's day for all you lovers out there, lol.

&&& to those who think valentine's day is overrated, check this out!...the only bad thing is that it's 21 & up. seems like fun.
