I woke up around 9 today much better. It's weird how I'm still tired when today is the last day of my month and a half long vacation and spring semester officially begins tomorrow. I got ready for church around 10 thinking that my parents weren't going to go, but turns out they were. I didn't understand how they were going to go to church with my sister and me because Jet's dad was over. It was then that my dad told me that we were going to the 12 o'clock mass at the Cathedral in Oakland after Jet's dad had left. If there's one thing that my dad feels very strongly about is the sense of togetherness and it can be seen when we go to church, when we eat our meals, and during my Dad's events in relation to his hometown in the Philippines. After we went to church, I got a better sense of my dad's character when my Uncle Lito and Jet's dad returned to converse while drinking of course. Their conversations ranged from their days of fishing, how they stole panties at the cabaret when they were in their teens, to my dad being a counsil member at Tanay. It was then that my Uncle Lito and Uncle Dardo suprised me when they said that my dad was more well known than the mayor himself. And it's funny cause it was then I remembered that everywhere I went during my trip to the Philippines I would get asked if I am the daughter of "Barute" or "Consehal" as they would call him, and I would just nod my head and say yes. My dad is well known, and I wouldn't be suprised. Matt came over as well, it was nice seeing that he's actually getting spanish with little help from me. We went to McDonald's and ordered a MCGANGBANG and it was pretty funny because the cashier started laughing and asked me if I was the one who asked for one a few days earlier. Apparently people have ordered that recently, and Matt was another person to that addition.
Tomorrow I have school so it may this may not be as interesting, I also have inventory and it's possible that I wouldn't even have time to write in this. But for those of you reading, have a good week at school guys and stay tuned to my
day to day.
