Today was definitely a good day for just lounging in my bed with a fudge bar and some tv shows that I have missed out on, and that is exactly what I did today. I only watched the first episode of Daddy's Girls and the first two of Real World where the transgender comes out to her/his fellow roomates, that's all. I was happy that I got to catch up with both of them. I have always loved Run's House, and now seeing Run's children actually having a show on their own in hopes of persuing their dream to expand their clothing company is truly an inspiration. Vannessa and Angela are good people with intellect and values instilled in them which are the qualities lacking in today's industry amongst young celebs. Real World on the other hand draws me in to the diversity of the people there ranging from a transgender, a hot gay guy, a soldier just out from Iraq, a former lesbian who is now dating a guy for the first time, etc. I would love to be on this show one day. I think it would not only be a good experience, but also another eye opener to the world at large (:
I was also watching this one episode of Parental Control. That show's hella stupid and you can tell that most of the time they're acting that shit out, it's ridiculous. However this episode drew me in as this one girl took this guy on a date to eat exotic food. It's supposedly an upscale restaurant in LA and looked really nice from the outside...except when they got into the kitchen the chef introduced tthem to the creatures they were going to cook up and consume. There were crickets, frog legs, scorpions, and the one that I absolutely couldn't stand, a pig's dick. Wtf right? If I were to ever go out on a date in the future and a guy were to take me to that kind of restaurant and serve me fried dick, I'd slap that shit right in his face. That's disgusting and I don't know how both of them ate that. The guy can't even say no homo to eating that pig's dick. Wow.
