Today I went to my Kuya Joel and my cousin-in-law, Ate Erika's baby shower around 4...and like always we were the first ones there. Not even all the food has arrived yet at that time. As both minutes and hours progressed, the more and more people came, but as usual, my cousin Ate Rhoda who is my Ate Erika's sister-in-law arrived 2 hours late when she was the one who told me to not get lost AND to not be late, haha. It was pretty funny when she came though. It was my sister, my Ate Rhoda, her boyfriend's kid named Gerrald and I on the couch and we were just talking about Josh and how big he's grown...and at the same time becoming one heck of a smart mouth. My Ate Rhoda was telling us a story about a time when Josh and Garrett were fighting. I guess Gerald, who is 11 years old and much older, was telling Josh, my ate rhoda's kid who's about to turn 7, what to do. Josh, angered at Gerrald, goes and says "You can't tell me what to do! You're not even my brother...You're not a Delos Santos!" hahahah. This kid is hilarious. As we were sitting down we noticed a very cute round boy who was holding a plateful of fried rice. He began walking and then all of a sudden stopped to take a spoonful of rice. After he was done, I see him struggling for a balloon that he couldn't reach. I told him to jump, and so he did. It was pretty funny seeing this super round kid jump for a balloon. I asked this one boy what's the name of the tubby kid. Because it was hella noisy, my ate rhoda and I heard Meat. We hella started laughing, a little fat boy name "meat". How ironic, hahah. I asked the boy again and he said "No! His real name is Rommel, but we call him Ming-Ming." That's when I hella started laughing. I go to my sister to ask if her friend Ming used to be chubby when he was little. My sister burtsed laughing, and said yeah. lol. That little boy's cute (:
That baby-shower eventually became a party for both the parents and the kids that they have brought along with them. All my cousin's friends, who were mostly married with children, were drinking while their kids were doing all the home wrecking. They had some good drinks, some smirnoff and cranberry juice. MY DAD even brought some henn. I wanted to drink, but that would've been waay to awkward. It was funny watching both the kids and my cousin's drunk friends. It makes me wonder how they can even drink when their own children are around. I wonder how that would be when I'm actually at that point in my life. Oh wow, ahhah.
